Is there any rule for selecting the type of snubber capacitor (polar or non), for IGBT Full Bridge Inverter??
I'm about to reverse existing inverter design for induction heating. I'm in mechanical engineering.

In the power stage, he used the different type of capacitor for snubber.
What will happen if I use both polar, both non polar, and polar-nonpolar?
