Hi, I need to create a decoder to work out if a capacitor is not charged, charging, fully charged and discharging.
I need the circuit to output two bits to identify the state of the capacitor.

Any help will be much appreciated

The only things you can measure are the voltage across the capacitor and the current flowing in or out of its terminals.
Unlike a battery, there is no such thing as "fully charged". Basically, it can be charged until the voltage causes the insulation between the plates to break down.

Hi this is what I want to do. Similar to how a phone tells us if it is charging, discharging, fully charged and not charged...
