Can USB OTG port of MCU connect to downstream port of the USB HUB

Dear Community,

You will see attached my setup in question. Here is what I need to do;

I am building a board with two different microcontrollers which both have a USB OTG controller. I want to use these ports for debugging purposes and maybe firmware upgrade etc. I do not have the space for multiple USB receptacles so I want to instead, use a single micro USB receptacle acting as the upstream port connected to a 1-to-4 USB 2.0 HUB. Downstreams, as you will see in the image, are connected to USB OTG ports of 2 different MCUs and 2 x FT232 to be converted to UART for some other purposes.

So, is there anything wrong with this implementation? I cannot find much about hubbing (?!?!) of USB OTG ports nor any reference designs. What do I do with the ID pins of A) The microcontrollers B) The receptacle.

Anyone who has designed something similar or has some extensive USB knowledge are kindly asked for guidance.

Regards,
Mete
