Can I use 60hz AC to DC power supply in india. Actually in india power generation at 50hz
This is very useful information for me thank you sirIt depends on the design of the Power-Supply .......
If the Power-Input of the Power-Supply is a Transformer,
the Transformer may over-heat.
If the Power-Supply-Input goes directly to a Bridge-Rectifier,
it will probably be OK, but with reduced Power-Output to some unknown degree.

This is very useful for me thank you sirIf the power supply is a transformer type, you may, if it is well designed. But, I have seen a 60Hz transformer that saturated on 50Hz.
The power out will be less that on 60Hz.
If it is a switch mode supply, there should be no problem at all. The supply runs on DC from rectified mains voltage. If the capacitors are just large enough for 60Hz, once again, the power out may be reduced a bit.
