Hi everybody,
I am working on a concept for a mini electric fence project. The system is very small, so that i prefer to use only a gate driver to create the voltage pulses. Idea is that the gate driver keeps a wire under perodic voltage pulses.
The input to the gate driver would be from an arduino (3.3V) and only needs 1 Hz frequency. Ideally it creates >50V pulses. Pulse length is not so important, but would be of course nice to play with this parameter as well.
Do you have any recommendation of such a gate driver? I will run some tests with FAN7382, but it requires > 10V input.
Do you believe I could misuse a gate driver for such a mini fence application? Or am I on the wrong path...
Would be great to learn from your expertise.
Thanks in advance
Paul
