Hey everyone,

Does anyone know the correct term for cable identification rings? The last place I saw them was to ID the thin cable ends of audio signal multicores. They slide loosely over the insulation of the cable before you solder on a connector and are colour coded with a number stamped on it so you know what channel of the multicore it is.

They are like the little plastic rings that biologists strap onto the legs of birds to track them. I'm trying to purchase some but because I need to know the proper term for them!
