Hi, I want to build CA3046 npn transistor array in isis-ares.
I used "make device" and set the pin numbers. but the pin 3 is the common pin of first two array.

Here is the problem of mine when setting the pins of :

How can I solve this problem? thanks

Because Q1&Q2 is different from Q3 or Q4 or Q5, dont think it is possible if you want to keep them in a 14-pin package with the mobility of each transistor.

If without the Dip-package limitation, you can treat them as relay with multiple contact sets. Then you can refer to library Facilities\Device Libraries\Making a multi-element Heterogeneous Device and see how they did it.

The best I can do it is this....

If you do find a way. Please do let us know...;)

Does it give you a fatal error if you try to use pin 3 twice? In ORCAD I might get an error but it will still let it pass.

Yes it just wont let you get past at that stage.

An alternative way is to assign a DIP-16 package and use pin 8 or pin 9 as the dummy pin 3 for Emitter:B Any pin > 7 is added with 2.
