of the tolerances and quality of the resistors?. Are you using in it in military devices or medical devices?

You don't have to be doing critical work to be concerned about the quality of stuff bought of E-bay (or elsewhere on the internet). Cheap Chinese crap counterfeit parts is so pervasive that it should always be considered. Many components, such as transistors, have die that are so much smaller than the real parts that they will fail at current levels well below spec. Other parts are so far out of spec that you think you are using a 10 nF capacitor and it's really 100 nF. If the parts are too unreliable and too far out of spec then they are worthless even for a home hobbyist who has the willingness and patience to measure each component they use. The TS is just trying to get a feel for whether cheap Chinese resistors fall into this category. The consensus appears to be that they are good enough for hobbyist use without too much concern.

 

Generally, I agree with the previous poster, but I do apologize for putting a bunch of these things in the Schiaparelli Mars lander that crashed.
