Hi

I am looking to build a Variable output wire current between 0-48 volts at 37.5 amps. I also want to have a volt meter and ammeter display analogue or digital.

Has anybody got any schematics and explanations for me to work with.

Hey Welcome.

First show me the Transformer that can supply the necessary wattage, then I will show u how you can built one for ur specs.

You need to be more precise on your specs. For instance, do you really need 37.5A if the voltage is 0.5V?

How on earth are you planning to supply this thing? I think the biggest circuit breaker in my house is just 20A, maybe as much as 40A.

 

basically I am looking to make 4 to 6 different variable AC power supplies with different resistance wires of different lenghts.

The information given previously is of a supply made in USA which doesnt state the wattage!!!

I will put a spreadsheet together with all the variables so a more precise selection can be made.

 

Big supply requirements, it's going to be fairly costly and more so if you plan to DIY.
