ive made a "coilgun" of sorts from a flash circut from a dispasable camera. i can launch a nail i cut into fouths about 5 feet.. to be honest i think thats pretty good with a AA battery and a 120uf cap. ... especally when i have a crappy coil(got it from an elecromagnet science toy) obviously im now trying to step it up. i have searched most every result for "coilgun" or "coilgun flash circut" in this fine electronics fourum. i have found many people leaving posts about somehow getting good results from using multiple flash circuts or more caps? i would just like an explinatoin or theory on how this is. i have about 7 flash circuts, plenty of AAA's AA's C' D's and 6v batterys. i also have an assorted bag of caps ranging from 33uf to one i have thats 10,000uf. so to reiderate,how to make a flash circut more powerfull. thanks
