This DMM has the 2 Infrared LED's on the back for conversion to USB data for a computer (I guess 1 is a photodiode to receive). I have a few IR receivers from TV's, I haven't tried looking at the output on a scope.
What is the output 'language', is it serial port RS232 ? I'd like to make a little circuit to connect to a store bought PCB that output's over USB to my PC.
I could read and make nice logic hi/low with some CD4000 chip, and make a clock with a 7555.
