The other day I saved some AP1501-50 buck converters from the trash. Is there any chance I could bread board them or better off using perf board?? Can I use these to charge a cell phone and does the cell phone regulate the current or pull the full 3amps?? Would I be off limiting current with the resistor data pins method??
