2 player games chess checkers and a popular game from china “Go“ Chess has 20 possible moves where “Go” is 361. I wouldn’t even start playing go however, I might start replaying chess. Right now I’m looking for games to play with my Granddaughters.

4 player plus.

Back in college, it was all-nighters of world domination and a case of beer playing Risk. Never was good at Go but played a much shorter Korean version called Gomoku. Used to play USCF tournaments but am only rated in the upper 1400s. You could always teach them Gin, Hearts, Spades, or Poker.

Scrabble. Got a Q on my last draw the other night. No U and none useable on the board. Thought it was bad a bad draw.

Put it down on a double letter making Qi both across and down for 42 points. (Yep, it is a valid Scrabble word.)

My personal poison is Backgammon. And my 23 year old son loves it too, so we play every once in a while and makes for excellent quality time, father-son wise.

Hello everyone :)

Let me guess you are always that guy who acquired boardwalk, Park place and the railroads. While moving the top hat around the board?
I was that guy... except it's the wheelbarrow that I moved around the board... and I always had a get out of jail free card... :D

When I was a kid I had a lot of fun with my parents and my other five siblings playing board games. That later changed to dominoes and cards when we grew up. It was God blessed quality time that I remember very fondly... I had a happy childhood in many respects.
