Hi guys, I have a school project which requires me to turn on/off the circuit using bluetooth, is there any sample circuit which I can refer to for this? I am also not sure which bluetooth device to use for my circuit as well. I saw some recommendation for TI CC2540 but it seems so complicated. Do I really need this just for my application of turning on/off?

And advice or recommendation is deeply appreciated.

Do you really need BLE? I mean i think you can do it with HC05/06.
There are plenty of HC04/05/06 relay circuits on web. Just google "HC05 relay circuit".

it's a little late but you can buy bluetooth modul (witch is around 3-4€) and use it with uC (AVR or PIC) and few other elements.
