Anyone had any success getting the Mic input to work on one of these modules?

I know that these modules can have different firmware in, depending on who originally made them.

I don't know if there is an AT command to enable the Mic input or set the gain?

I do know there is an aux input and an aux detect signal.

The boards I have work great for audio out from the phone but I cannot get the mic input to register anything on voice recorder. The phone is still using it's own mic.

I don't know if this is because it's not paired as a handsfree device or if the firmware I have doesn't support it or if there is some method to enable it.

Any help welcome!

 

Turns out the Mic input only works when making a call. Using an audio recorder app or sound meter app won't enable a bluetooth mic.

I found an app specifically for testing bluetooth headsets and this operates the mic inut on the BK8000L perfectly.

 

Have you tried AT+CV? That’s “Open Mobile Voice” but I don’t know if it requires a call in progress.
