which accelerometer will be the best to detect the rotation and orientation of my wrist. I am trying to make a wearable that can detect whether the hand is straight or bend.

If you type "Arduino Accelerometer" into Google lots of stuff comes up. Did you have anything in mind? I just typed that into eBay and found
MPU-6050 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer. I bet Adafruit has a library and a tutorial available.
