I have a led music controller but the mic seems too weak, I opened it up and there is this condenser mic:

I want to replace it with more sensitive mic. what should I look for? any recommendation? I want the led controller to respond to music even with low volume, currently I have to put it directly on the speaker cone and increase the volume for it to respond. the controller is 12v and adapter 5a/6a.

60 to 62db is about the most you can hope for for an electret microphone. You may need to add a pre-amplifier.
