Battery Swap for a Bluetooth Speaker

I had a quick question. Would it be fine to use a basic Bluetooth speaker charging circuit for a larger battery? The original battery is a 3.7v Li-Po at 300 mAh and the one I want to use is a 3.7v Li-Po at 4000mAh. Would it charge properly and would it charge to the max? Can I use the leads from the larger battery or would I need new ones?

LiPO chargers, if well designed, charge a constant current until battery reaches
a specifc V, then a topping charge at fixed V.

So answer to your question depends on how well designed is the charger.
Is it cut for general chemistry or a specific cell type/array.

LiPO cells have very active chemistry, so to do all this safely they have to
be designed to handle the cell you are working with.

I believe it’s just for general chemistry because it’s a cheapo speaker and the battery it charges isn’t anything special. Thanks for your reply!!
