It's rechargeable ...you have to go rechargeable or you'd be buying batteries every week .. this will last about 6 hrs before flat , you also need a recharger ... just plug light in directly , it will start at 12.6 V and fade down to 10 V over 5 hrs , no problem you will hardly notice the change in light ...you will need protection circuit
