Hello.
Can anyone recommend a good introductory book or books on basic electricity. How it works, how it works in devices, how to build basic circuits etc.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated and where to start?
Thank you.

You can start by looking at the Education section on the home page where you will find quite a bit of information. At the very least learn what Ohm's Law and Kirchoff's Laws are and how to apply them.
And Welcome to AAC!

When you do ask questions, you may look stupid.
When you do NOT ask questions, you will STAY stupid.
Very well put.
Thank you both for the help and the links. Greatly appreciated.

Perhaps a sticky should be started for such a popular subject. It seems to pop up just about once a month. A list of books and resoureces would be a handy thing for the forum members to have at their disposal.
