How do i get my avatar to appear along side my posts? it just says my name and no image?

Hello,
In the user control panel, you have the option "edit avatar"
http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/profile.php?do=editavatar
The avatar has restrictions on the size.
This is mentioned on the page.(I think it was 100 X 100 pixels).
