I've had two of the below products, you see pictures of a similar product in the url below. It allows multiple multiple HDMI devices to be distributed to two TVs.
Upon returning from vacation last Christmas everything connected to this box was dead. TV, HTPC(card), dvr, and this box.
Two nights ago overnight on a clear night the same thing happened again. Except this time the local tv was dead in addition to everything else.. I am really pissed. And the surge was much worse this time.
Is this low voltage box burning all my stuff up? One other thought, I have a 20ft long cable running under the house. This cable was actually damaged from the event. Connector plugged into the matrix is badly burned and un-usable. Thoughts appreciated.
