Here in a suburb of Toronto, Canada there are fools driving new Ford Mustang cars made here that have three buttons: loud, louder and loudest. There are wealthy Chinese kids at the local University driving Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other very expensive and noisy sport cars. They drive these noisy cars all night long. They are caught street racing and stunt driving but they pay a fine and do it again and again.
My daughter has a little farm. No noisy cars and no police are there.
You can use a 3-way crossover to feed the different speakers. That is how it used to be done and with that much power you can afford a bit of loss. And it is far less complex. Just be sure to use adequate heat sinks on all of the power devices in your amplifier.I have decided on building an amplifier that deliveres 137W of power. The THD of mentioned amplifier is 0.0029, which I think is pretty impressive. I think im going to split the frequency over 3 drivers, so that would be a woofer, a mid and a tweeter. Is that a good idea? Any recommendations on the build? Gonna start building it soon.
