Hi ya people
I have an atom x power supply ( its powers tattoo guns)...Recently its just stopped working, no power, no lights, nothing. unit appears totally dead. It is powdered by a maplin 19volt power supply. The unit then regulates the voltage output to the ink guns.the manufacturer has removed all identification from the ICs on the board...
My question...How do I identify the ICs ....I have no schmatics or parts list for this unit, and the manufacturer doesn't want to help as the unit is out of warranty.

Sounds like the Atom is short-circuiting the supply.
Check for any bulging/leaky capacitors on the Atom board.
Have a close inspection of the board with a magnifier, looking for a any signs of component/board discolouring or overheating.
