Along with LesJones's questions, what indication do you have that the hex file was programmed into the chip and that it is correct?
Hi Dick,
Reading your post made me realise that I was not clear enough. I was interpreting the question as that the micro did not respond to a hex code sent to it while the program was running. I now realise that the OP could mean that he is not able to load the .HEX program file into the chip.
