Hi all, I'm having problem trying to create an asynchronous serial data transmission (reproduce transmit part of RS232) with shift registers. Right now I made the circuit but am stuck at the moment, to get the counter to get from 0 to 9 and stop there, do I just need to follow the truth tables? So for example, 9 = 1001 so would I put an 'AND' gate at the beginning and end and 2 'NOT' gates in the middle. I've uploaded some attachments on the info of my project.
