Hello! I have a question about something happening when I am running a device that has been created. I am not going to go into detail yet specifically what this device does, or how it functions, just that it uses high frequency changing electric and magnetic fields. and is set up similar to a "tower".

the other day because I love to try new and sometimes pointless things purely out of curiosity. I had an old armature from a car starter motor laying around directly on top of the device or "tower" with a bottle cap in between any metallic surface that may cause electricity to flow through it .

The armature was placed on the op of the tower without any connections or wires, it was just resting on top of this "tower" while running this device and sweeping through the frequency's there was at one point and a certain frequency that the armature that was placed on top of the tower starting spinning very fast in the counter clockwise direction.

I have not investigated the cause of this further, i am just wondering what would cause this to happen and how "strong" such a field would need to be to cause an armature to move in the absence of any local magnets.

Why do you IMO post the most horrible pictures possible of the objects of your questions?

Is it a "Tower of Power"?
There really are no secret sauce configurations of coils and fields that produce anything novel or worth keeping secret today at your level of understanding.

How about you define what you call "high frequency" because my high frequency is a frequency between 3 and 30 MHz. So what is your definition of high frequency? I am also not very good at mystery games.

When I spent some time in the microwave lab we had a sign at the entrance reading "Anything below 1.0 GHz is DC". :)

Maybe during the 1890s today 5 to 10 KHz is not exactly high frequency. :) Actually it is low frequency by today's standard.

The high frequency is where a lot of people get confused about N. Tesla's early work. His high frequency inventions (like remote control boats, etc ...) were mainly based on HF audio frequency induction principles, not RF HF radiation.

Here is another example of this "spinning " I was talking about. Instead this time I am using a bottle of water. The Bottle is Glued to a bearing that is mounted to the surface of a piece of stone.
