Are Transformers Polarized Components?

Hi
I am very new to electronics and was trying to build a circuit for a school project.
I am supposed to wire a step up transformer with pin numbers 1,5,7 and 9.
Question is, which of these pins are positive and which ones are ground? I bought it from a local store and cannot find any datasheet.

Really? You expect us to be able to tell you which pins are which, especially since you have given us virtually zero useful information?

All transformers are for AC and therefore dont have polarity, they have phases, that means if they have multiple windings, there will be a start and finish for each winding, so if you want to parallel or series them they must be in phase.
