My mouse's middle switch stopped working. After some research i found out it is a b3f 1000. I was wondering if i can just replace it with a spare b3f 1020 i have or would there be a problem. This mouse is very important and i want to fix it but i dont really know what im doing, i dont even know if this is the right place to ask, any tips or advice are welcome

If the switches look similar, go ahead and try it.
One difference will be that you will have to press five times harder.

I've replaced mouse switches before. The biggest concern is physical fit. If the switch fits it will likely function. They are pretty standard in Common, Normally Open and Normally Closed pin configurations.

I use the right hand index finger button far more than any other switches. I'll refer to it as left click. The right click button is also used but far less than the left button. I don't know how much you use the wheel button and I don't know if all three switches are the same, but you COULD if you had to use the right click button to replace the wheel button. Then replace the right button with something that fits. Even if it takes more pressure to actuate, it's likely to be of little consequence.
