Hi,

I just wondered if anyone has used this website?

http://www.electronic-circuitry.com/

I've been looking for a schematic for an old Philips transistor radio (D2012). I've never found anything before, but today this website comes up. I'm not sure if it is genuine or safe to use, as some of the links don't work and although the schematic is just a PDF, it seems as though you have to download some software which makes me suspicious. Either that, or I just don't know how this site works, I don't really understand the instructions.

This is the link to the one I want to download.

Any help or advice much appreciated as I really want to get this old radio working properly again.

As you guys don't seem to be using the site I posted about for your schematics, I guess my instinct may have been right this time and it isn't genuine.

Thought I'd just add this to make others wary.

Hi and thanks for both of you for having a look at the site for me. I wasn't sure if I was just doing something wrong.

I think I have to concede that I will not find a schematic for this radio (I've been looking for months on and off!)

Yeah that is the radio I'm talking about Bertus, but unfortunately no schematic on the radio museum site either.

Basically, this is a 30 year old mystery!! I bought this little transistor second hand when it was only two/three years old. It worked perfectly for about 6 months, then stopped receiving anything on FM. AM still works fine.

If anyone would be willing to spend a little time helping me, I will upload some photos of the PCB and also the datasheet I found for the main/only IC.
