It’s been a while since I did component level fault finding and repair so I’m looking for assistance with a cheap soldering iron that stopped working. It’s a Seekone SDL-996S. The 24 volt PSU started switching on and off then remained off.

I cannot find a circuit diagram online, I was hoping someone here might have seen one.

The “hot” side of the board has power but the ”cold” side does not.

A few pics. The transistor at U200 looks like it had been reworked and covered in flux. Cleaned it off and it looks like a TL431

Practically nothing there. Around 50mV at pin 1 and 9mV at pin3.
can’t see anything at secondary of the transformer. I wonder if there’s a component failure on the hot side of the circuit that’s causing it. Scary DC on that side lol.

 

There’s this IC but I can’t find any information about it online.
