Why not just receive the fax to the mobile?

 

There are many fax apps to send faxes from Android or IOS, see here

 

Is your reason for wanting to use the machine is so you have a paper print-out?

One possible way would be to get a VOIP adapter with a POTS phone interface and connect that to the FAX machine.

 

I would recommend using a fax-to-email service like eFax. Might be pricey but it's ideal for if you have constant faxes to do.

 

Why not just receive the fax to the mobile?

Cost. I'm not aware of any free option, but I haven't searched lately. I use FaxZero for the occasional outbound fax.
