You can bought a pair of LoRa transceiver (E62-433T20D) for less than $20. With this technology and this power, your range can reach 2000 meters minimum in a city. You will need maybe to add a converter to have a compatible receiver voltage.

I think that I have not understand your question. Remote control, ok but it exist a lot of type of remote control, so, which type ? In all case, I think that your control remote on Aliexpress will don't work with 1 km of coverage or really in good condition.
