All, I got help in this forum a few months back when I was trying to build a simple CPU. It's working now, so I thought I would pass back some links to the project: (promotional link removed) and the (promotional link removed). It's only a dozen 7400-style chips but it's quite usable. The design makes for a good educational tool, and it's easy to build on a few breadboards.

@DickCappels: This appears to be an open-source project. The forum's TOS only prohibits links to "commercial advertising or spam", doesn't it?
