Animal voice analyzer

Hi everyone. Do you know any simple projects that detecting voice/sound of animals (hardware) (thru signalling) in any application? like dog, cat, frog... etc.

To do that would likely require some sort of spectrum analyzer (FFT) circuit with a microprocessor to analyze the output and, as wayneh noted, that's not "simple".

Maybe now you understand why analyzing the voices of several different species is not a trivial job. If you just want to detect louder than usual sounds, that's easy enough. Analyzing them goes straight into the world of high tech.

I am wrong by the word simple. But do you know any existing ones that detecting frequency aside from guitar tuner? Like using mcu.
