I don't own any firearms. When I was a boy I had a stockless 22 cal long rifle. Only fired it a few times. Dad had a 44 Webly I wanted to fire but he wouldn't let me take it to the range. Also had a 30/30 I never got to fire. In the core I fired an M16 both semi and fully automatic. Was amazed at how quickly it could empty a clip.
I shot the M-14 in the Navy during the 70's (security alert team). A .308 at full-auto was fun the few times they let us dump some old ammo.

I sold my clone semi-auto M-14 a few years ago and bought a nice .308 BLR hunting rifle as a replacement with the money.

Walmart-exclusive router and others sold on Amazon & eBay contain hidden backdoors to control devices

The Wavlink routers also contain a script that lists nearby wifi and has the capability to connect to those networks.

We have also found evidence that these backdoors are being actively exploited, and there’s been an attempt to add the devices to a Mirai botnet. Mirai is malware that infects devices connected to a network, turns them into remotely controlled bots as part of a botnet, and uses them in large-scale attacks. The most famous of these is the 2016 Dyn DNS cyberattack, which brought down major websites like Reddit, Netflix, CNN, GitHub, Twitter, Airbnb and more.
Smells like state actors...

Why only a smell?

Made In China by Chinese government controlled companies.
Basically, the first IP address you see there – 222.141.xx.xxx, which comes from China – was trying to upload a malicious file on the router using the vulnerabilities. When we checked this file, we saw that it contained the Mirai malware – a malicious script that connects the router to the Mirai botnet.
