And now for something weird...

I saw a teaser clip on this in the local news but did not see the actual piece. Thanks for posting.

One of those movies that they show all of the scary scenes as trailers/previews for six months before the movie is released - dark, deep voice, "when the kid watching his paper boat float down the gutter, you won't know what to expect when it reaches the drain. watch it!"

I've seen all I needed to see.

Usually, the hype is directly proportional to the disappointment...

Here, a connection between me and @Hypatia's Protege . I grew up in the shadows of St. John's University's (Collegeville, MN) stained glass windows. They played their season-opening football game against St. Scholastica (Duluth, MN) (HPs claimed location). Even with 4th and 5th string players on the field, St. John's just kept scoring.
The Johnnies beat the Saints, 98 - 0.

Saint John's scored on its third play from scrimmage. Then, after forcing the Saints' offense to a three-and-out, the Johnnies recovered a mishandled snap on a punt attempt and turned it into a touchdown two plays later. A little more than a minute later, they returned an interception for a touchdown.

Less than six minutes into the game, and after just five offensive plays by St John's, they were up, 21-0.
This weekend, the poor Saints are going into the game with a surprisingly positive attitude. I wish them well.

Note, St. John's. Has the best Division III record of all time. Last year, they beat St. Scholastica 49-7.
