That was similar to a 'candle singe', a way of cutting hair from a century or more ago. And having a rebirth today. Back when it was common, they thought that hair had a fluid similar to blood in it. And the singe cauterized the hair to keep the fluid in.
Exactly what my wife said when I showed her the video.

This is very interesting. I'm a science person and view this sort of things with extreme skepticism. But the source of this information has drawn my attention.

Memos detail how Mr Geller was able to partly replicate pictures drawn in another room with varying - but sometimes precise - accuracy, leading the researchers to write that he "demonstrated his paranormal perceptual ability in a convincing and unambiguous manner".

Could you add the typical coin or metric tape next to it to appreciate size?
My friend told me that it measures about 3-1/2 to 4 inches long... he's planning on going back to that area again soon just so he can take a closer look at it, and maybe even capture one in a jar... :eek:
