I'm am really happy about this outcome though disturbed that it even happened. Carry that epi pen and be ever-vigilent. We hope that this never happens again.

I have suffered from food and environmental allergies and asthma my entire life, but never experienced anaphylactic shock. Then Morticia, who never had an allergy in her life, was the one who did. Strange world.

Ya, same. But, I did feel as if the very ecence, life force was draining out of me once. I am alergic to pine or pine sap in this instance. Flux smoke penetrated my work space. Day after day for 3 years suddenly without warning it hit.

So, bad that if that feeling didn’t lift and if someone say a (Doc) said: Sir, this is what the rest of your life will be like. I would rather end it somehow. My wife and I went up in the mountains for the weekend, fresh air and exercise allowed me to realize I was slowly being poisened by my work space.

Glad to be here.

I wish it were that easy. My autoimmune system went a bit nuts a few years back. As teenagers we spent warm weekends water skiing all day. Come Monday, we'd be so sore we couldn't move without hurting and aching. That's the story I was telling my doctor about how I was feeling, sore and aching all over. Along with that I also developed psoriasis on my arms and neck. So, they sent me to a rheumatologist who heard my tale and immediately told me I had Psoriatic Arthritis. I'd never heard of it before but my body is being attacked by my immune system. That's when they put me on the horribly expensive Enbrel which impairs my immune system and almost eliminates the aching and soreness and the psoriasis cleared up. The downside of it is my immune system is impaired, making me less immune to the common viruses and infections we normally fight off. Our body's autoimmune system is very complex. Oh, and the Enbrel does nothing for the arthritis in the joints of my fingers as it is a different type of arthritis also caused by my autoimmune system...
