Hey you genius folks!
I wanna make a special e-board that can charge itself while we enjoy riding it. My idea goes like:- make a four wheel drive electric skateboard, and run just the two rear brushless motors and use the front brushless motors to charge the battery as they rotate while we travel. My brushless motor is gonna be of 1200kv and I am making a li-ion battery pack with 12 batteries in it. Please let me know will that work? Can i charge my battery with those two brushless motors on the front wheels of my longboard? Please let me know any extra stuff that i really need to know before trying this out.

Thankyou so much!Cheers!

We see some form of this proposal about once a month.
One variation is putting a wind generator on a car.
It is a type of over-unity energy scheme or perpetual motion and won't work.
Due to inherent inefficiencies in motors and generators you will never recover more energy by the generator than the extra power it takes to drive the motor.

It it worked, don't you think someone else would have already done it?

And with that brief explanation, this thread is no longer open for comment or reply because discussion of over unity is not allowed according to the User Agreement for this forum.
