The schematic attached has a couple of relays. The intent here is that when the solenoid is active the electromagnet should be off. Only by turning off the solenoid can the electromagnet be turned on. If the electromagnet is on and the solenoid is activated then the electromagnet should shut off. Also, when the main power (SW1) is turned off then back on everything resets so that the solenoid and the electromagnet are both off.
What I am wondering is:
1) Am I using the relays correctly??
2) Is there a way to combine SW2 and SW3 into one switch??
3) My loads are pretty robust but should I put something after the relays to protect them??
Input voltage is standard US wall outlet
