Hi, please take a look at my configuration for the AMS1117-5.0v, i just wonna be sure its ok because am gonna be ordering a pcb that includes that circuit to supply 5v at 1A, help me inspect the circuit

Have you calculated what area of copper on the PCB will be needed to take away enough heat to keep the silicon alive?

its SOT-223 package and am planning to supply an input voltage of about 12v,
am not very sure about how much current is gonna be drown by my entire circuit but it should be a little bellow 1A, please check the entire circuit bellow:
The MCU is TQFP-32_7X7X08P
I have about three LEDs and they are al 0805 package
A HC05 Bluetooth Module
Two 5v relays

The entire circuit is something that the arduino itself would normally power without any problem, and check out mychoice of input and output capacitors, i hope the values are ok

That AMS package can dissipate 1.2W.
I have had some AMS1117 failures on the Arduino boards when using a 12Vdc input, I now run at 9v

How did you calculate 1 A draw?
