Alternative way to reacharge an electric car

Usually,all electric cars is being reacharged by charge station.it'd take more time to charge and we need to go to charge station.but if we fix a powerful motor and connect it to car's gear..if the motor rotates while driving the car it will generate electricity.we can store those current through one battery...when it comes to charge we can just connect the battery to car's battery...we don't need to go to any station.is it possible? Will this idea works?

No. It absolutely will not work.

The batteries provide the energy to turn the motor, which turns your "motor"[generator] to charge the batteries. There are losses at every step so you don't even get back what you put in.

No, absolutely not. That would violate the Law of Conservation of Energy. Now you could do things like regenerative braking and such, but the electricity yield from that will be relatively small.

I didn't said batteries provide the energy to turn the motor..the motor will directly connected to the car's wheel..so if the car begin to move.the motor rotates and it will generate electricity isn't it?...that electricity we can store it to another battery...so If the car need to reacharge we can just connect the car battery to that another battery
No. It absolutely will not work.

The battery turns the motor that turns the wheel. Unless the car is coasting down a hill, your "motor"[really a generator] will be turned by the motor moving the car....and will require additional energy to do so

Do you really think that we have all been going around using power stations to generate electricity, because no one before you has suggested some variation of that perpetual motion scheme?

If I had a $buck for every person who has proposed some variation of that to achieve free energy, I could buy myself a nice Yacht.

An electric car charges its battery from gravitational potential energy when it goes down hills. It uses energy from the battery when it goes up hill. If those were the only mechanisms involved, then you would never need to charge it.
Have you noticed that motors get hot? That heat is coming from energy stored in the battery and it is disappearing into thin air.

I’ve got a simpler method. Mount a large magnet on the front bumper. Then put a boom out in front of the car and mount another magnet that attracts the one in the bumper. Voila! The magnet in front pulls the car using no energy!

The one on the boom can be rotated 180 degrees to supply braking and 90 degrees to turn the car off.

Hi Tom.

Whenever you are evaluating an idea like this one there is a simple go/no-go test you an use: everything you want to get out has to be put in somewhere and any work being done requires energy to do it. If you appear to be getting something “for free”, that is energy greater than the total you put in or more work than the total energy can do, it’s broken.

At first glance your idea seems good, but it fails both parts of our test depending on your point of view.

What I think you overlooked is that a generator needs energy input. The larger the load on the generator the harder it is to turn. If we have an electric car that takes, let’s just say for discussion, 100W to keep it going at a fixed speed. If we add your contraption we’ve just increased the amount of work required to move the car and so we need more energy. With the charger in place the additional power has to come from somewhere—and that’s the battery of the car.

It’s not a completely crazy idea, though. A very similar method is used in regenerative braking where the motors are turned into generators and that load is used to slow the car, and part of the generated electricity is returned to the battery. This is a good trick to increase efficiency.

But that‘s the other thing—part of. Because all of these systems are less than 100% efficient, that’s just a fact of life. You a tell this because the motors and wires get hot. That heat is energy that never makes it to the wheels, it’s just “lost” as heat. The tires get hot, too. I will leave you to think about that.

Anyway, the seed of the idea is good, but your application is not. Using it as regenerative braking is good because otherwise all of the energy that is represented by the cars momentum would have to be turned into heat by the brakes. This way some of it gets returned for reuse. You could do a very similar thing with a flywheel.

But no matter what remember: you can’t get out more than you put in; you can’t get any work unless you put enough in to do it; and you can never use everything you put in because the system will always include losses as heat.
