I hope our intergalactic friends don't consider this an attack.
How do they keep the lightning from striking the LASER?I hope our intergalactic friends don't consider this an attack.
IMO, that's the easy part. The laser could be fired through a hollow grounded metal rod (i.e a tubular lightning rod). How do they keep the lightning from striking the LASER?
It's a conspiracy to cover all the other conspiracies!A spy balloon in an age of daily space launches and spy satellites?
A obvious cover up of Alien technology.![]()
From Mars.Guess what was at the end of those contrails...yup, a "stealth" fighter.
If the Chinese military's "Plan A" is using satellites equipped with cameras from AliExpress vendors, I can see why they had to go lower altitude with Plan B and use a balloon. If Plan B doesn't get clear images of the Montana Sheep Farm from the balloon, it is my understanding they will be using Plan C - Mr Li suspended by a crane. Why didn't you guys make a big deal of it happening before? https://www.npr.org/2023/02/06/1154...loon-over-the-u-s-why-were-the-others-ignored

The episode last week was very different because of how long the balloon was over the U.S., and because it was traveling near sensitive military sites.

The same information was also in your link. The American military had a “domain awareness gap” that allowed three other suspected Chinese spy balloons to transit the continental United States undetected under the Trump administration, the Pentagon general responsible for providing air and missile defense over North America said on Monday.
“Every day as a NORAD commander, it’s my responsibility to detect threats to North America. I will tell you that we did not detect those threats,” Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of US Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command said when asked about the three other balloons.
“And that’s a domain awareness gap that we have to figure out, but I don’t want to go into further detail.”
So although the researchers believe these eight signals resemble what a technosignature is expected to look like, they can't confidently say any or all of the signals originate from extraterrestrial intelligence. The scientists would have needed to detect the same signals multiple times, and this repetition didn't appear during brief follow-up observations by the Green Bank Telescope.
Those previous incursions didn't make the news. Indeed, it took a while even for top American military officials to learn about them, according to a report in The New York Times(opens in new tab), at least in part because some incidents were initially classified as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), as UFOs have recently been branded.
...
"As the Pentagon and intelligence agencies stepped up efforts over the past two years to find explanations for many of those incidents, officials reclassified some events as Chinese spy balloons."
...
"It is not clear when the Pentagon determined the incidents involved Chinese spying. When the determination was made, officials kept the information secret to avoid letting China know their surveillance efforts were uncovered," The Times added, citing multiple U.S. officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Hanlon’s razor: “Never attribute to aliens that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”The community is also nervous that their balloons could be shot down next. Medlin says one of his balloons—call sign W5KUB-112—is projected by HYSPLIT to enter U.S. airspace on Feb. 17. It already circumnavigated the globe several times, but its trajectory last carried the object over China before it will enter either Mexican or U.S. airspace.
“I hope,” Medlin said, “that in the next few days when that happens we’re not real trigger-happy and start shooting down everything.”
