Hi, first post on this forum. Happy to have found this. I am a self taught hobbyist and tradesman. I really enjoy building things and find myself dabbling more and more in electronics.
My latest project is building a radio and intercom system for an off road racing application. Using affordable parts.
I’m trying to connect Amazon tatical headset using a u174 plug to an aviation intercom to a baofeng radio. The idea is to have a portable/removable self contained system for in truck to pit communication. Possibly with the bonus of having music input.
As I’m gathering pieces I’m realizing I’m a bit over my head. I know I can figure it out but am looking for some assistance.
Any suggestions for treads here I should go down? Or if this is up you ally pleas feel free to reach out here. TIA

You can add a tactical Headset (U174 plug). These headsets typically use a 4-pin connector. You'll need to figure out the pinout (ground, mic, speaker, PTT) to integrate it with your system.
