Adhesive for PEM inserts

Hi all,

At my place of work we use PEM inserts (similar to the one attached here) which are press-fitted into PCBs.
We are regularly ending up with these inserts falling loose. Could someone please recommend some kind of resin (or other adhesive) which could be used to prevent the PEMs from falling loose? Is the one listed in this link suitable for such application?
The adhesive should withstand temperatures from -35oC up to 130oC.

Any kind of help would be highly appreciated.

The PEM inserts are a poor choice for PCB inserts (they are for cold pressing into sheet metal). No adhesive will solve your problem with the PEMs. You should instead find one that is swaged into PCB holes. Many vendors make what you should be using.

Some questi0ns and thoughts...

Are the holes in the PCB exactly the right size? The hole size is very critical and depends somewhat on the material.
Are the PEM's pressed into a plated through hole? The hole should not be plated.
Are the PEM's mounted with the load pulling the PEM out of the hole? They hold a much smaller weight that way.
Is the load wiggling the PEM? Vibration and an off axis load could loosen the PEM.

edit: One more thought:
Is the PEM the right one for the thickness of your PCB?

Yet one more thought:
PEM's for PCB's are slightly different than PEM's for metal. Are you using the ones intended for a PCB?
