I'm looking for advice on ICs and circuit designs for getting a reasonably accurate DC voltage reading and displaying it on an LCD. I need accuracy of +/- 0.01V and I need to display at least 2 decimals (.xy), 3 decimals would be ideal (.xyz).
The goal is to read the output from a sensor and display the reading to the user. The sensor output is steady state DC from 5.0V to 0.1V. My circuit power source will be a 9V battery, and there will be an accurate 5.00V reference on-board. I'm new to this type of circuit, any advice is welcome and much appreciated!
