Hi all,
I need a circuit for AC operated constant current LED lamp,
i want to use (nearly)100 LEDs its rating are 3V 30mA ,in my country Ac is @240V and lot of voltage fluctuations are there, once i have recorded 1800V spike on my multimeter, hence it needs spike protection/over voltage protection also.

'EARTH HOUR' INSPIRED ME TO TAKE UP THIS PROJECT.
hope All About Circuits Forum will help me out executing this project

Thanks in advance

It is necessary to use a transformer to provide isolation from the mains.
