Couldn't follow it that well, but what I did see appears to follow what is tn the winding text I sent.
Thankyou..
I agree, I also had difficulty in following. I was intrigued as it was the closest I have seen to MY dev.wiring diag (DVG).
APART from the fact my motor has 4 coils double layered( I believe is the term)...why is that?
However..I will endevour to screenshot the relevant parts to highlight that which I perceive contrary advice...hey ho! .

I am learning such a lot!
Couldn't see how to screenshot..took a pic., ain't science marvellous!

"Reverse Winding" ??
Ooops...this not as per your diag...I misread !.It is something that I picked up on the videos. So I need not worry? Yes?
By 'reverse winding' I mean, as previously mentioned, each alternate coil wound clockwise & then anticlockwise.

"Top".??

Why do some slots have 2 coils..is this what is meant by 'doubled layered '?

Start. Generally the higher turns, smaller gauge.
The exception is a PSC motor that has equal windings.
Either is used as start or run. In order to reverse easily

Thanks Max..
There are more questions than answers...
a ) Do you know what this springy thing miight be..is it some form of c.f. brake perhaps..?
b) Is it critical how I series connect the 4 groups of coils..ie 2x run & 2x start.?
1.I have now noticed these 2 pads....some sort of brake perhaps..?
2."Progress"..
