Hi Everyone
I need some help please.
I have spent the last year working on a Triumph Spitfire, converting it ti a mid engined layout using an Audi 1.8 turbo 20v engine and transaxle. As part of the build I used an Bosch Me7.5 engine management ecu, some of the wiring loom and the VDO dash/cluster.
I had to do some major hacking of the code in the ECU for the car to run without all the OEM smog/evap stuff, but now the engine purs like a kitten
The one problem I do have however is the dash board's multi function display has an error in great big red bold letters STOP, BRAKE FAULT, SERVICE MANUAL and I cannot get rid of it. So i was wondering if there was a way to emulate the ABS signal to the dashboard to say all is well, and get rid of that error.
I could revert to a non CAN bus display but that seems very defeatist after all the work done thus far. by the way there is a black oak fascia that sits in front of the cluster, another reason why I don't want to change clusters.
